How is the new policy calculated?

Since January 1, 2025, China has gradually raised the statutory retirement age: male employees retire 1 month later every 4 months (up to 63); female employees (was 50) 1 month later every 2 months (up to 55); female cadres (was 55) 1 month later every 4 months (up to 58).

Flexible retirement

You may retire up to 3 years early (but not below the original age) or, by agreement, up to 3 years later.
