How to use the QR Code Generator?
- Enter a URL or text in the text box above; you can customize the QR code's style using foreground and background colors.
- If you want to add a logo to the QR code, you can upload a logo image and set the logo's border color and proportion.
- Click the 'Generate' button to produce the QR code; the result will be displayed in the image box on the left.
The QR codes generated by our tool can be scanned and used normally on scanning devices. Right-clicking the mouse on the QR code allows you to save it as an image.
What is a QR Code?
A QR Code (Quick Response Code) is a two-dimensional barcode that encodes binary data into a square matrix using black-and-white markers. It was originally developed by the Japanese automotive industry to track automotive parts. There are 40 standard versions and 4 micro versions of QR codes. QR codes support four data encoding modes:
- Numeric (Numeric): 0-9
- Alphanumeric (Alphanumeric): 0-9, A-Z, space, $, %, *, +, -, ., /, :
- Byte/Binary: Encoded according to the ISO/IEC 8859-1 standard
- Japanese Kanji/Kana: Encoded according to the Shift JIS JIS X 0208 standard
QR codes have four error correction levels:
- L (Low): Can correct up to 7% of the code
- M (Medium): Can correct up to 15% of the code
- Q (Quartile): Can correct up to 25% of the code
- H (High): Can correct up to 30% of the code
