What is Photo to Sketch?
Photo to Sketch is a free online image effect tool that converts ordinary photos into realistic hand-drawn sketches using traditional image processing algorithms such as grayscale, color dodge blending, Sobel edge detection and grain textures. No software installation required.
Styles & Parameters
- Pencil (Bright / Soft)：classic color dodge blending for fine, layered lines; Bright is clear, Soft is natural.
- Line (Sobel Edge)：extracts edges with the Sobel operator for crisp outlines, ideal for architecture and product shots.
- Charcoal (Coarse Grain)：overlays random grain on the edge lines for a bold, textured look.
- Blur：controls line thickness and softness.
- Pencil strength：controls line intensity and depth.
- Edge threshold：controls edge detection sensitivity.
- Contrast：adjusts black/white contrast (-100 to 100).
- Grain strength：controls grain density for the charcoal style.
- Invert：switch to black background with white lines.
Image Input

How to Use
- Load a photo by dragging, clicking, pasting or entering a URL.
- Choose a style and drag the sliders for a real-time preview.
