The Sphere Calculator is a web-based utility tool specifically designed to calculate various geometric parameters of a sphere. It can automatically compute all other related properties of a sphere based on any given parameter provided by the user (radius, diameter, circumference, surface area, or volume).
How to Use the Sphere Calculator
Enter the known value: Input the known sphere parameter value in the "Enter Number" text box. Ensure the entered value is a valid number (can be an integer or decimal).
Select parameter type: Choose the type of parameter you entered from the "Type" dropdown menu: radius r, diameter d, circumference C, surface area S, volume V.
Select unit: Choose the unit used for your input value from the "Unit" dropdown menu: millimeter (mm), centimeter (cm), decimeter (dm), meter (m).
Perform calculation: Click the "Calculate" button to perform the calculation, or simply press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.
View results: The calculation results will be displayed in the corresponding text boxes below: radius R, diameter D, volume V, surface area S, circumference C.
Please ensure that the entered value is a valid number; otherwise, the tool will display an error message. Surface area results will include the square unit symbol (²); volume results will include the cubic unit symbol (³). All calculation results are rounded to 6 decimal places to ensure precision. Unit conversions are performed automatically to ensure all results use the same unit.
