Mouse Test Introduction

This is a practical tool designed to detect various functions of a mouse. It can display the mouse's current position, movement speed, button states, and scroll wheel behavior in real time. Through simple interactions, users can quickly check whether the mouse is functioning properly, including the response of left, right, middle, and additional buttons, as well as the sensitivity of the scroll wheel. This tool is suitable for hardware testing, device calibration, or troubleshooting mouse issues during daily use.

Mouse Test Steps

Move the mouse: Move the mouse freely on the page; the tool will display the current mouse coordinates (X, Y) and movement speed (pixels/second), helping you determine whether the mouse movement is smooth.
Click test: Click the left, middle, right, and any additional buttons (if available); the corresponding buttons will highlight to confirm that each button is triggering correctly.
Double-click detection: Rapidly click the left mouse button twice and observe whether the "Double-click Detection" status changes from "No" to "Yes" to verify that the double-click function is working properly.
Scroll wheel test: Scroll the mouse wheel up and down, and observe changes in the "Scroll Status" value. A positive number indicates upward scrolling, a negative number indicates downward scrolling, and the magnitude reflects the scroll distance.
After completing the above operations, users can comprehensively evaluate whether all mouse functions are working normally. If any anomalies are detected, further inspection of the hardware connection or replacement of the device for testing is recommended.
