What is an online color extractor?

The online color extractor is a free color picking tool that lets you pick colors from an image, from your screen when supported by the browser, or by entering values manually. The selected color is instantly converted to common formats such as HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV and CMYK, and matching colors, light/dark shades, text contrast and CSS variables are generated automatically for designers and front-end developers to copy and use.

How to Use

1. On the "Pick from Image" tab, choose a local image, hover to preview colors and click to select.
2. Or on the "Pick from Screen" tab, use the system eye-dropper to pick directly.
3. You can also switch to "Manual Input" and enter a HEX value or use the color picker.
4. Copy the color format, matching colors, shades or CSS variables you need from the right panel.
