Mobile Accelerometer Test Tool Introduction

This is a tool for real-time detection of the working status of a mobile device's accelerometer, capable of visually displaying the device's motion data in three-dimensional space (X, Y, Z axis acceleration values). By simply moving the mobile device, users can observe the real-time response of the accelerometer to determine whether the sensor is functioning properly. It is suitable for hardware diagnostics, motion-sensing application tuning, or routine device troubleshooting.

Usage Steps

Open the test page
Load this tool page in your mobile browser, ensuring the device is placed horizontally and stationary. At this point, the tool will display the initial acceleration values (when stationary, the Z-axis is approximately 9.8 m/s², corresponding to gravitational acceleration).
Observe real-time data
Slowly move or tilt the device and observe the changes in the X, Y, and Z axis values. For example:
When the phone is placed flat, the Z-axis is close to 9.8, while the X/Y axes are close to 0;
When tilting left or right, the X-axis value will fluctuate positively and negatively;
When tilting forward or backward, the Y-axis value will change.
Check for anomalies
If the values show no response, remain constantly at 0, or display "N/A", the sensor may be damaged or the browser may lack permission to access it. Try refreshing the page or check the sensor permissions in your device system settings.
Verify functional integrity
Rapidly shake the device to confirm that the values respond sensitively to motion changes; if there is obvious lag or erratic data jumps, the sensor may require calibration. Perform calibration via system settings or contact after-sales support.
By following the above steps, you can comprehensively evaluate the working status of the mobile accelerometer and ensure it provides accurate motion data for applications such as games, navigation, and VR.
